目前,进行磁粉探伤时,常采用经验公式或标准试片来确定磁化规范,优点是快速、方便;缺点是没有充分考虑工件材料的磁特性。随着特殊钢材品种的日益增多,钢材磁特性差异也愈来愈大,就是同一种钢材,热处理状态不同,磁性差异也很大。显然,用同一种规范磁化一些磁性特殊的钢材或不同热处理状态的同一种钢材,是不能保证探伤灵敏度的。为此,人们考虑,根据各种钢材的磁特性曲线,科学地合理地选择磁化规范。
