最近对紫露草属和玉米属的研究表明,在二倍体植株中表达的基因至少有85%同样在其单倍体花粉中得到表达。如果有合适的生化指标可以鉴定,则利用花粉筛选可能成为植物育种中一种新的、有效的筛选方法。在花粉和菜籽(甘蓝型)的脂肪酸组成间存在有一些令人感兴趣的质量上的相关。这些相关性可能成为利用花粉选择改良菜籽品质这种筛选方法的基础。
Recent studies on Sphagnihynchus and Zea show that at least 85% of the genes expressed in diploid plants are also expressed in their haploid pollen. If suitable biochemical indicators can be identified, the use of pollen screening may be a new and effective screening method in plant breeding. There is some interesting qualitative correlation between the fatty acid composition of pollen and rapeseed (cabbage type). These correlations may underlie the screening method that uses pollen selection to improve rapeseed quality.
