无论你走在南岭群山或是潇水河边,不经意间,你就可以听到朴实自然的歌声穿越山林,回荡在山谷,向人们宣示着这个民族鲜明独特的个性,山水也因此而生动起来。瑶山人无事不成歌,瑶山无处不有歌。瑶歌是瑶族人民口头文学的一个重要组成部分,是瑶族人民的文艺活动,是他们沟通心灵、交流经验的主要方式。而在江华的山岭河谷间,在影影绰绰的云雾缭绕中,她的歌声高亢嘹亮、深邃悠远,被瑶家人亲切地称为“歌妈”。她就是湖南省非物质文化遗产《盘王大歌》的传承人——赵庚妹。
