Retinal vein occlusion (RVO) is divided into central venous occlusion (CRVO) and branch vein occlusion (BRVO), is a class of diseases that cause serious visual impairment. In recent years, due to some traditional risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, smoking, retinal vascular disease has caused great concern. None of these risk factors explain the development of stroke. Retinal vessels are unique in that they can be seen directly through a non-invasive indirect ophthalmoscope. It has been reported that RVO is a risk factor for stroke. However, the relationship between RVO and stroke, the results of different studies.
