紫坪铺高混凝土面板堆石坝在“5·12”汶川地震中,经受了超抗震设计标准的考验,强震导致大坝出现较大震陷和水平变形,防渗面板发生挤压破坏、脱空与错台、水平接缝错位等震损震害。根据抗震抢险期间大坝监测资料和震害调查成果,综合评价认为其具有可修复性,震后的大坝防渗系统仍然有效,各泄洪建筑物仍具备正常运用功能,大坝整体结构稳定安全,震陷后大坝超高仍在安全储备范围内。截至2008年9月下旬,已完成防渗面板挤压破坏(包括水下部分)、脱空与错台施工,水库蓄水位至843m高程(高于地震发生时水位约13m),大坝总体渗流稳定,抗震抢险期间现场的实施决策和安全评价是正确的。
