Bell首先发现妊娠期并发面神经麻痹,以后的研究也证实Bell氏麻痹(持发性面神经麻痹)与妊娠有关,Hilsinger统计妊娠期和产褥早期患Bell氏麻痹是对照组的3.3倍。作者在Brisham and Women’s医院观察了自1982年10月~1987年7月住院病人伴发各种类型的面神经麻痹或称Bell氏麻痹共176例,诊断特发性面神经麻痹45例。凡在妊娠期或产褥早期发病者列为研究对象共18例。其妊娠期发病率约为41/10万次分娩,平均年龄27岁。18例中12例发病在孕末期(平均于产前12天),6例在产褥期的前两周(从分娩当日~12天)。7例为初产妇。17例病人都只发病一次,仅1例分别在
Bell first discovered facial paralysis associated with pregnancy. Subsequent studies also confirmed that Bell’s paralysis (idiopathic facial paralysis) is associated with pregnancy, with Hilsinger’s 3.3 times as likely to have Bell’s palsy during pregnancy and early puerperal compared with the control group. The authors observed 176 patients with various types of facial paralysis or Bell’s paralysis and 45 patients with idiopathic facial paralysis diagnosed inpatients from October 1982 to July 1987 in Brisham and Women’s Hospital.
