Oral primary malignant melanoma is a rare malignant disease that accounts for only about 1% to 8% of all melanomas. So far there have been no prospective studies of melanoma at this site. Each previous report included only a few cases. This article reports 6 cases of new cases, and the previous review of 171 cases, their classification, biopsy and factors that affect the prognosis. Through analysis, the authors believe that oral cancer is most common in the upper jaw of patients over 50 years of age. The prognosis of oral melanoma is generally worse than that of skin melanoma. Since their biological behavior is also the same as the insufficiency of melanoma of the skin, their prospective studies must be conducted separately and not together.
