Over-training is one of the athletic diseases caused by improper training of athletes. Excessive training may affect the athletic ability of athletes, lose the chance of competition or fail to achieve the desired result due to poor physical and mental condition. Therefore, coaches and medical workers should supervise the athletes to avoid over-training, while achieving early detection and early treatment to avoid unnecessary damage. First, the concept of over-training Excessive training is the body’s stimulation of a psychological - physiological response syndrome. At present, there is no unified definition of over-training. The majority of foreign literature is defined as: Over-training is an imbalance between training and recovery, exercise and exercise ability, stress and tolerance. The stress here refers to the sum of training factors and non-training factors. Chinese scholars believe that over-training is a series of functional disorders or pathological conditions caused by the continuous accumulation of fatigue due to the incompatibility between exercise load and body function, or the fatigue associated with health damage.
