1997年,重组后的浙江包装集团公司根据党中央“改革、稳定、发展”的总体要求和中国包装总公司、浙江省计经委的有关工作实施意见,把握大局,加快企业改革和发展的步伐;抓住机遇,加大结构调整和优化的力度;强化管理,加速新的经济增长点的培育;开拓进取,加紧国际国内两个市场的建设;坚持“两手抓”,加强党建和思想政治工作,各个方面都取得了显著的成绩。重组后的浙江包装集团公司注册资金由原来的3000万元增加到10242万元,总资产达到5.74亿元,成为一个有相当生产、经营规模,具有一定经济实力和社会知名度的工商贸相结合的经济实体,1997年年产量和实现税利都比上一年同期有较大幅度地增长。
