The so-called concept map is popular in western countries in Europe and America as a teaching strategy. The concept map was first proposed by Professor Novak of the Department of Education at Cornell University in the United States in the 1960s, until the concept map of the 1980s was finalized. Initially, Novak and his colleagues conducted continuous research for more than a decade in search of tools that effectively present learners’ cognitive structures, that is, their effects after taking different pedagogies.
