黄土高原久旱,直接效果就是北京刮黄风。气象学上叫做“吹沙天气”。就是这样的日子,我骑车顶着风去看青艺的小剧场戏剧《火神与秋女》。可能是陈顒的话在起作用。她曾不止一次向我提到,就是天上下着刀子顶着锅也要把小剧场建成功。这使我深受感动,表示一定要成为小剧场的第一批观众。国门洞开,八面来风,吹动了我国话剧界,使戏剧家们眼界开了,思路活了,小剧场运动应运而生。别的小剧场我也去过几个,但都不如青艺这个特色突出:它四周和屋顶都涂成黑色,没有窗户,象个“黑匣子”。剧场避光性很好,如果关上灯,整个剧场一片黑暗,观众可排除一切外界干扰,心无旁骛,专心致志地等待看戏。而当戏开始时,这个环境又利于调配灯光,取得满意的效果。同时,配上一套好的音响设备,愈发使观众觉得自己与整个剧场融为一体,与演出更加贴近。

And when the drama begins, this environment is conducive to deployment of lighting, to obtain satisfactory results. At the same time, coupled with a good audio equipment, the audience feel more and more integrated with the theater, and the show closer.
