近几年来,美国、英国、墨西哥等国家已经成功地利用陆地卫星(Landsat)遥感图象,进行了全国性的土地资源分类、清查和制图工作.目前我国已在河北、山西进行了部分地区的工作,利用陆地卫星假彩色放大图象,编绘了土壤图和其它农业条件系列图.实践证明,利用遥感图象进行土地资源和土壤调查与制图,具有速度快、成本低、功效高的特点.为此,我们为了配合全国正在开展的农业资源调查和土壤普查工作的需要,进行了利用陆地卫星MSS多波段黑白放大卫片编绘中小比例尺土壤图的探讨,以MSS多波段遥感图象做解释基础,编绘了1/50万吉林省土壤分市图.
