中国古代文人与酒之关系,是中国文学史、中国文化史上一个饶有意味又内蕴丰富的课题。酒之于古代文人,一个普遍的、重要的作用就是浇愁、销愁,化解胸中块垒;与此同时,酒也激发了他们的豪情、豪性;由于特殊的时代社会原因,历史上饮酒最甚的是魏晋文人与元代文人;而最得酒中真趣的是陶渊明和苏轼。另外,酒之醉境与艺术创造和虚静状态有某种相通或相似之处,值得研究
