During the Song and Jin dynasties, both Korea and Japan imported white porcelain from China. The imported white porcelain originated from white porcelain from Ding kiln, white porcelain from Kiln kiln from Jingdezhen, and white porcelain from Fujian and Guangdong. As far as the current archaeological excavation materials show, the number of Chinese white porcelain unearthed in South Korea is relatively small, but the quality is superior. In contrast, the number of Chinese white porcelain unearthed in China is greater but less than that unearthed by South Korea. Among them, white porcelain four-tiered cans produced in Fujian and Guangdong were more unearthed in Japan than only one in South Korea. This paper tries to find out the differences between Chinese white porcelain unearthed by South Korea and Japan by excavating materials through archeology and analyzes the reasons for these differences.
