1. British Institute of Mechanical Engineers Rail Branch will hold an international conference on diesel locomotives in York from April 8 to April 9, 1987. The latest technological developments and future technological developments are also discussed to enhance the cost-effectiveness and competitiveness of diesel locomotives. 2. The American Association of Railway Engineering Maintenance Manufacturers is scheduled to hold an indoor exhibition of railway engineering and maintenance equipment in Chicago from March 15 to March 17, 1987, and hold an annual meeting of the American Society of Railway Engineering. The latest products and technologies related to track and track maintenance will be exhibited and discussed.
