Preface Tea tree native to China’s Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau subtropical - humid tropical monsoon region. In glare, high temperature, low humidity conditions, poor growth of tea trees, tea quality declines. In the past twenty years or so, the world’s major tea producing countries have successively devoted themselves to changing the ecological environment of tea gardens and improving the quality of tea. As early as the Tang Dynasty in China, Song Dynasty has intercropping of tea, Inter-sycamore records. In 1959, Puwen Farm in Yunnan Province succeeded in establishing a tea plantation artificial community of rubber and tea trees in tropical tea gardens. From 1970 to 1985, Tang Rongnan and Wang Rongchu succeeded in establishing artificial communities of Pinus elliottii and tea tree, grape and tea tree respectively. This experiment tried to choose strong positive, deep deciduous broad-leaved trees - Paulownia and tea intercropping, the establishment of multi-level composite ecosystem to improve the quality of tea, and promote tea yield and stability, while providing some high-quality wood, and achieved high economic benefits.
