茄果类蔬菜的栽培品种大多对土壤性病害抗性差,在冬季设施栽培条件下长势弱。人们正迫切期待抗病性强,低温伸长性好的新品种早日问世.但是,理想性状的遗传力低,其基因又常常与不良性状的基因连锁,育种难度大,近期内很难收效。日本利用砧木缓解茄果类蔬菜生产这一矛盾,取得了相当大的成功,日本的成功经验对提高上海地区的茄果类蔬菜的栽培水平有一定的参考价值.一、葫芦科砧木的特性
