史学求真的基点,在于史料的搜集和对其真伪的鉴别。但是,相对于无尽的历史来说,史料永远有限,如何基于有限的史料书写无尽的历史,是历史学家永恒的课题。特别是在没有留下史料的历史空白点上,历史学家只能沉默不语,还是可以用推测性的合理构筑去填补?笔者在写作新型历史叙事《楚亡》时,基于苏东坡和王世贞两位伟大前辈运用合理构筑填补历史空白的传统,在史书失载处有系统地做了构筑性的补充。本文结合这次写作的实践,尝试作理论性的论证,进而逼近文学和史学、论说文体和叙事文体之关系的深处。
Historical truth-seeking point, lies in the collection of historical materials and the authenticity of its identification. However, compared with the endless history, the historical materials are limited forever. How to write an endless history based on limited historical materials is an eternal topic of historians. Especially in the absence of historical gaps left by historical data, historians can only be silent, or can be filled with speculative and reasonable construction? I write in the new historical narrative “Chu death”, based on Su Dongpo and Wang Shizhen two The great predecessors made use of the reasonable construction to fill the historical blank and systematically made a constructive supplement to the loss of history books. Based on the practice of this writing, this article tries to make theoretical argument, and then approaches the literature and history, and discusses the relationship between style and narrative style.
