Design conditions: This apartment building is built in a crowded residential area with a usable construction area of only 8,100 square feet (approximately 753 square meters), and the permitted floor height of 105 feet (36 meters). As a result of the straitened status, stairwells are poured concrete with sliding formwork, and the floor is constructed with post-tensioned pre-stressed riser plates. The three stair wells are designed to absorb seismic forces, so there is no need for additional shear walls, and each well is individually stable. These stairwells are constructed first, leaving the embedded iron in the appropriate position on each floor.
