近年来细胞凋亡被广泛地应用于肿瘤研究中。白血病的发病是因造血细胞凋亡机制紊乱所致。联合化疗可诱导凋亡引起白血病完全缓解。现代药理学研究表明，许多中草药具有细胞毒作用，改善体内激素水平、免疫调节及促进诱导白血病细胞分化等作用，这些都是其诱导白血病细胞凋亡的药理学基础。抗白血病中药复方癌灵１号及其有效成分ＡＳ２Ｏ３确能诱导细胞凋亡。因而从诱导白血病发生细胞凋亡的角度筛选具有疗效好、毒副作用小的抗白血病的中草药和中药制剂，可能是攻克白血病治疗难关的一个新的研究思路。
In recent years, apoptosis has been widely used in tumor research. The onset of leukemia is due to a disorder of the hematopoietic cell apoptosis. Combination chemotherapy can induce apoptosis and cause complete remission of leukemia. Modern pharmacology studies have shown that many Chinese herbal medicines have cytotoxic effects, improve the level of hormones in the body, immune regulation, and promote the differentiation of leukemic cells. These are the pharmacological basis for inducing apoptosis of leukemia cells. Anti-leukemia Chinese herbal compound Fangling No. 1 and its active ingredient AS2O3 can indeed induce apoptosis. Therefore, to screen leukemia-inducing Chinese herbal medicines and traditional Chinese medicine preparations with good curative effect and little toxic side effects from the perspective of inducing apoptosis of leukemia-producing cells may be a new research idea to overcome the difficulties in the treatment of leukemia.
