1. Introduction The use of cableway systems to transport goods before the 1950s was very popular. Later, due to the need to be able to transport goods in large quantities quickly, cheaply and safely, the ropeway system could not meet this requirement. The ropeway that once dominated the transportation in the mountains was gradually replaced by a truck or belt conveyor. However, taking into account the problems of high labor costs, preservation of the natural environment, and measures for prevention and control of public hazards, a new understanding of cable transportation has been achieved after careful comparison of comprehensive costs. Countries all over the world are using automated cableways as medium-capacity long-distance delivery systems. This development trend is particularly evident in mountainous regions. This article will introduce the wool material transportation system for the construction of aggregate materials used in the Kirsan-Chan dam project in Japan, that is, the effect achieved by adopting a fully automated single-line fixed-circular cargo ropeway.
