目前杏树品种按其用途主要分两类:肉用与仁用。而扁杏品种具有果肉品质上等、仁用性状又好的双重利用价值。扁杏是山西省的一个地方品种,1986年引入山西省农科院果树所杏资源圃,通过多年的观察鉴定,该品种不仅抗霜、丰产,而且仁肉兼佳,很有发展前途。
Apricot varieties currently used mainly divided into two categories: meat and kernel use. The flat apricot varieties with the highest quality of the flesh, good dual purpose and use value. Ping apricot is a local variety in Shanxi Province. In 1986, it was introduced into the apricot resource garden of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Through years of observation and appraisal, the variety is not only resistant to frost, high yield, but also good for both meat and meat.
