Frank Petter Zimmermann plays Beethoven’s first movement in the Violin Concerto, a 32-year-old German violinist calling it Eternal Concerto. Suddenly, a man in the audience felt dissatisfied with his seat, so he turned a few rows and found a better position. During the play, the ringing of the phone ring. Speaks and coughs interrupted this little wide board. In the third movement, the London Symphony Orchestra’s performers seemed overwhelmed when the servants poured tea to the important figures sitting in the front row of the Tianjin Chinese Theater. This is the way China welcomes classical music.
