西雅图图书馆与CCTV主楼都采用了格构化的表皮,其表皮中也包含了一套结构体系。虽然都为包裹性表皮,但两栋建筑对外表皮上支撑结构的表达采用了不同的手法:一个为匀质性的包裹,其支撑结构隐藏在外表之中;而另一个真实地表达了其结构体系。通过分析这两栋建筑的设计理念与表皮节点的不同处理手法,探讨库哈斯采用格构化表皮与隐藏或显现其结构的原因。
The Seattle Library and the CCTV main building all use a structured skin that also contains a structural system in the epidermis. Although both are encapsulated epidermis, the two structures use different approaches to the expression of the support structure on the epidermis: one is a homogeneous package, the support structure of which is hidden in the exterior, while the other one truly expresses its structure system. By analyzing the design concepts of these two buildings and the different treatment methods of the epidermal nodes, we discuss the reasons why Koolhaas adopts the structured epidermis and hides or reveals its structure.
