建立一个以802.11协议为基础的无线Mesh试验网络在实际应用环境中评价无线Mesh网络的性能[1]。试验网包含Mesh路由器和Mesh客户端两部分。Mesh路由器是基于MIPS构架的嵌入式linux硬件开发板为核心做成;Mesh客户端则是由基于x-86体系的笔记本充当的。通过测试网络中源节点和目的节点的传输速率“带宽”来评价Mesh网络的性能,并且通过实时的视频传输来评价网络的稳定性和鲁棒性。
Establish a wireless Mesh experimental network based on 802.11 protocol to evaluate the performance of wireless Mesh network in practical application [1]. The experimental network contains Mesh router and Mesh client in two parts. Mesh router is based on MIPS architecture embedded linux hardware development board as the core; Mesh client is based on the x-86 system based notebooks. The performance of Mesh networks is evaluated by testing the transmission rate “bandwidth ” of the source and destination nodes in the network, and the stability and robustness of the network are evaluated by real-time video transmission.
