21世纪的时代意识,源自于科学技术高度发达的社会,尤其是集中于都市所面临的价值观的剧变。在超前的都市文明的快节奏中,新与旧的价值判断使人的精神状况愈发紧迫,表现出新的生活秩序。从根本上讲,都市的高楼大厦、穿行的车流、笔直的斑马线和行人匆匆的步伐,使得理性与非理性的情感冲动不可避免地在人们情感与生理中形成,其结局就是精神的衰落与焦虑。文化消费成为人们唯一的消解方式,将人们从精神压迫与焦虑中解放出来,通过文化消费作出有效的、合理的自我调适。因此,我们将文化消费看作是一个都市精神的实践原则,是一种全新的社会结构、特殊的经济秩序,它们共同建构了都市精神发展的新指向。
The 21st century awareness of the times stems from the highly developed science and technology in society, especially focusing on the changing values of the city. In the fast pace of the advanced urban civilization, new and old value judgments make people’s mental state more and more urgent, showing a new order of life. Fundamentally speaking, the high-rise buildings in the city, the traffic flow through the city, the straight zebra crossing and the pedestrian rush make the emotional impulse of rational and irrational inevitably form in people’s emotion and physiology. Its ending is the decline and anxiety of the spirit . Cultural consumption has become the only way for people to dissolve, liberating people from spiritual oppression and anxiety and making effective and reasonable self-adjustment through cultural consumption. Therefore, we regard cultural consumption as a practical principle of urban spirit, a completely new social structure and a special economic order, all of which together constitute a new orientation for the development of urban spirits.
