Researchers from Melbourne, Australia, have found that they can block the growth of cancer cells by targeting a protein molecule, and the protein they find called Hhex can be a key molecule for the cure of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Relevant research results published in the international academic journals Gene and Development. AML is a highly aggressive blood cancer, and the incidence of sudden, rapid growth of cancer cells, the patient’s prognosis is very poor. The current treatment of AML has very serious side effects. About three-quarters of patients will relapse after a short period of treatment, with a patient’s five-year survival rate of only about 24%.
