Mandibular movement is under the control of the central nervous system, controlled by the peripheral sensory nerve and a variety of flexible exercise. As a result, patients with dentures are finely adjusted by the denture-covered mucosa during mandibular motion. This experiment evaluated the effect of local experimental pressure applied to the free saddle-base mucosa of the removable partial dentures on the EMG of the temporal and masseter muscles during mandibular movement.
