Arthur Miller is one of the most influential American theater writers in the United States. After entering the ’80s, two of his excellent dramas, The Crucible and Death of a Salesman, were put on the Chinese stage one after another. In May 1983, Miller personally came to China to guide his masterpiece. As a result, there was a “Miller fever” in the theater critics in our country.
