介绍生产加工锆粉最常用的方法———氢化-脱氢法。金属锆(粉)在一定温度下便开始与氢气发生剧烈的反应,当含氢量大于2.3%时,产物疏松,易于粉碎成细小颗粒的氢化锆粉,氢化锆粉经过大约500℃以上的温度,开始脱氢直至1000℃左右的温度,脱氢基本结束,可得到锆粉。对氢化-脱氢法生产锆粉过程中的温度、压力等做了概要的分析。试验证明,锆中氢含量随温度的升高逐渐降低,在800℃时氢化锆出现吸热峰迅速分解,锆的氢化反应温度区间为400~800℃,脱氢反应温度区间大约为800~1000℃。氢化脱氢法实际上是一种将海绵锆、边角锆、废锆屑等加工成锆粉的生产工艺,没有除杂的作用,因此氢化脱氢法生产的锆粉,其杂质主要取决于原料自身的纯度,如果严格注意操作中的环节,只会引入少量的氧、氢或碳等杂质,试验证明,要得到低氢含量的锆粉,需要较高的真空度和脱氢温度,但是温度要适度,否则会使锆粉末烧结,锆粉经过氢化后,其含氢量一般在3.8%±0.2%。对于相同原料制取的锆粉,粒度越细,其含氧量越高。
