太极拳这项运动对老年人的身体健康有积极作用,如果长期坚持练习,可以有效改善老年人心血管功能,神经系统,步行能力和姿势稳定。但太极拳对老年人运动功能影响的机制仍旧没有深入开展,相关研究指标比较单一,对太极拳改善老年人运动功能的最低练习时间和频率还未有结论。因此,本研究的开展对于探索太极拳运动对人体健康影响机制,预防老年人跌倒,为老年人恢复提供最佳的运动处方和训练恢复手段,对提高老年人生活健康以及预防衰老有着重要的现实指导意义。
