Neolithic Hemudu, about 7,000 years ago, was built with mortise and tenon. After the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States period, the mortise and tenons began to be used from furniture to furniture. To the Ming and Qing Dynasties furniture in the development reached its peak. Tenon and craft clever and complex, it is a classic, an art, is the technology and knowledge of human civilization. With the progress of science and technology and the continuous development of the times, the structure of mortise and tenon joints is no longer suitable for modern architecture and furniture. Because of the emergence and development of more and more emerging materials, the traditional crafts gradually decline or even disappear. In this paper, the traditional tenon-ditch structure as a design element has been studied and applied to jewelry design. Through the combination of modern jewelry processing technology to create, the use of tenon joint structure in the jewelry design, not only the connection has been enriched, and in the past, a single fixed traditional jewelry design also has a new form of change. The traditional crafts through innovative forms of expression to be continued and developed.
