France was undoubtedly one of the major powers at the stage of European diplomacy in the 1920s and 1930s, and the “small allies” was also an unassisted group of allies. France and the “small allies” have had a long time to cooperate on the basis of the Treaty of Vercelia, a new European order after World War I. However, with the development of the complicated European situation in Europe in the 1930s, the “petit’s country” has been disintegrated. The cooperation between France and the “petitioners” has also been increasingly estranged and eventually parted in isolation, leaving thought-provoking historical lessons for future generations.
