色彩淡雅、装帧精美的《广东当代作家传略》(陈衡、袁广达主编,中山大学出版社出版),是一部作家自己写自己(个别已故作家除外)的大书。收录747人,凡70余万字。每传,少则百余字;多则三、四千字;而大多数则在千字左右,短小精悍。此种以一个省的作家小传合集出版的书,在全国来说,尚属第一部。书前,有秦牧同志的序言;书末,有附录《中国作家协会广东分会会员名单》。纵览一遍,可以看出这部大书有它自己的特色,那就是: 一、“我写我”,写亲身经历,材料出于第一手。700多位作家,不论老年、中年、青年,都有自己的人生旅程,社会实践,创作成绩、 The elegant and well-framed “Introduction to Contemporary Chinese Writers” (edited by Chen Heng and Yuan Guangda, published by Sun Yat-sen University Press) is a big book by writers who write themselves (except for some late writers).
