《圣麦克斯》一章是《德意志意识形态》研究中的一个空白点。它不仅篇幅巨大,就思想容量和深度来说,其中所阐述的很多观点复杂而深邃。在这一章的《序言》和第一部分《旧约:人》中的《创世纪,即人生》,马克思与施蒂纳思想之间在诸如是把“无”当作人生事业的基础还是必须从“现实的条件”出发、是抽象地书写“人”的传记还是以个人的物质“生活”和社会“生活”来规约人的成长过程和轨迹、对精神世界的探索和追求意味着层次、境界上对现实的不断超脱还是在要“思维的绝技”等方面不断发生碰撞,展现了两种观照和把握世界方式的差异。如果我们承认世界不是一种存在、一种理解、一种诠释,那么需要站在第三者的立场来分析他们之间的驳难逻辑与观点得失。这是一种很困难的解读,一种不适宜于作出简单肯定或者否定的判断的解读。
