利用产于四川龙门山地区中泥盆统吉维特阶的腕足化石,在保证测试分析精度相同的条件下,对原始生活环境相同、保存程度相同的化石进行了科、属、种3个级别上氧、碳同位素组成的对比,所研究的化石都没有显示出可检测的同位素生命效应。已有的腕足化石具有氧、碳同位素生命效应的认识很可能源于原始生活环境不尽相同和(或)保存程度不同的腕足化石的对比研究。因此腕足化石壳体是研究碳酸盐岩原始氧、碳同位素组成的较为理想的样品。
Using the brachiopod fossils produced in the Middle Devonian Jiewiczian in the Longmenshan area of Sichuan Province, the fossils with the same original living environment and the same degree of preservation were examined under the same conditions of test analysis accuracy. Oxygen and carbon isotope composition, the studied fossils did not show a detectable isotope life effect. The existing knowledge about the biological effects of oxygen and carbon isotopes on the brachiopod fossils is probably derived from the comparative studies of the barefoot and fossil carcasses with different original living environments and / or conservation levels. Therefore, the foot and leg fossil shells are the ideal samples for studying the original oxygen and carbon isotopic composition of carbonate rocks.
