According to the released data by the Customs General Administration, China’s accumulative total import and export value reached US$1 148.61 billion in the first 10 months of 2005, which ap-proached the US$1 154.79 billion in the whole 2004 and represented an increase of 24.0% compared with the same period of 2004. Export value was US$614.49 bil-lion with an increase of 31.1%, compared with the 31.3% in the first nine months. The import climbed 16.7%, a slight higher than the 16.0% in the first nine months. In October the export value was US$68.
