当前科技外语教育需亟待解决的几个问题

21世纪国际间经济实力的竞争实际上将是人才的竞争。然而,由于历史的和客观的原因,我国现行的科技外语专业教育却存在着明显的缺陷,如何才能扭转这种局面呢?文章尝试着从教育者心理、情感等内驱力上探讨解决这些问题的途径。或改革者,而不应仅仅成为专家理论的实践者。当前,笔者认为外语教师首先需要转变教育观念,帮助学生提高文化素养,克服焦虑情绪和消极态度,增强他们的语言技能和运用能力,使他们的语言素质达到一个新的水准。我们应注重培养学生敏捷的思维能力,使他们具有良好的身体和心理素质,从而有能力适应社会飞速发展的需要,进而为社会创造出更多的价值。科技外语专业教育除了使学生具备扎实的语言基础外,还要求学生多学一些其他专业知识,要遵循“因地、因校、因人”的原则,在英语专业学生中开展复合型人才培养,同时又可在非英语专业的学生中探索复合型人才培养的模式,很多院校开展“第二学位,第二专业,辅修专业”的模式,就很受学生们的欢迎。外语教师在组织课堂教学时,要注意调控课堂情绪,展开课堂讨论,让学生独立思考,及时总结培养学生语言实际运用能力的经验,并注意为学生提供“兴奋点”,使他们的思路活跃起来,锻炼他们的思维能力。同时,写作能力也需要加强?
