Between January 1965 and July 1987, 22 patients with small (<2 cm) superficial infiltrates (<5 mm) of vulvar squamous cell carcinoma were treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and the prognostic factors of lymph node metastasis were evaluated, with Including depth of invasion, grading, degree of lymphoproliferation (LPI), presence of lymphatic space infiltration (LVSI), and perineural infiltration (PNI). The average patient age of 60 years (28 to 78 years old). The depth of invasion was measured from the surface of the epithelium with an eyepiece micrometer, with an average depth of 2 mm (0.7 to 4 mm). 18 cases of grade Ⅰ tumor, 4 cases of grade Ⅱ. The lightest LPI in 10 cases
