Recently, a study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) confirmed for the first time that microarrays generated by different laboratories produced highly comparable results. In a comparative study, four laboratories independently analyzed the gene expression of the same human tumor tissue. In general, gene expression was highly comparable at several sites in various samples and the correlation between laboratories was lower than that of replicates in the same laboratory.
