我出生在辽宁省北镇。那里至今还完好地保留着隋朝修建的北镇庙、辽代双塔、明代城垣等古老文化遗迹。它们和博大雄浑的医巫闾山融为一体,形成了较多的文化积淀,历史上造就了很多画家。辽时太子东丹王耶律倍,曾于闾山绝项筑书堂,习文绘画,他的《射骑》等中国画皆入宋秘府,收入《宣和画谱》;清代宫廷画家高其佩弟子傅雯所画的《医巫闾山图》,至今被辽宁博物馆收藏:今天的闾山人,已形成了一个画家群体,他们被北宁的大自然所吸引,以中国画技法,创作出了一批批富有浓郁生活气息的水墨画。他们在传统文人画的基础上加以创新,作品意境清新,笔墨凝练,乡土民情跃出绢素。最使我惊叹的是画中洋溢的纯正、朴厚的乡土气息和浓烈、率真的北国情趣以及由此产生的独特的魁力。如今闾山的画家们信心十足,每日闻鸡起舞,灯下挥毫,久而久之作品越显得精到。从对传统的继承方面看,他们 I was born in North Town, Liaoning Province.
