A new novel adsorption air-conditioning system is developed, in which activated carbon -methanol has been used as working pair. With a heat source temperatuxe of 100℃, a specific cooling power over 150 W/kg has been achieved, meanwhich a COP of 0.4～0.5 has been reached. This results show that adsorption cooling system is reasonable for application of waste heat recovery.
