The launching ceremony of The Centennial Series of Modern Chinese Poetry（中国新诗百年大系）co-sponsored by the China Wenlian Press and the Organization Committee of Chinese Poetry Tour was held in Beijing on May 4. Since the birth in the May Fourth New Culture Movement， modern Chinese poetry is about to celebrate its 100 anniversary in 2017.The Centennial Series of Modern Chinese Poetry aims at sorting， editing and including classics， schools and events of poetry of the past century since its birth. Led by Jidi Majia， a poet， member of the Standing Committee and the Propaganda chief of Qinghai Province， the editorial board is composed by some famous poets and poetry critics nationwide. The book is to be edited into 10 volumes and published by the end of 2018.
