中国对亚洲区域经济合作一向给予高度的重视,并一直致力于推动亚洲各国开展更加紧密的经贸合作。我们认为,在经济全球化日益发展的今天,进一步加强经贸合作,是亚洲各国在新世纪里积极应对新形势的必然选择。而作为亚洲最大的发展中国家,中国也将以更加积极的姿态参与亚洲区域经济合作。我认为,亚洲各国行动起来,创造条件开展各种形式的区域经济合作具有深远的意义: 首先,开展区域经济合作有利于加强亚洲的和平与稳定。众所周知,经济因素是当今 China always attaches great importance to the economic cooperation in Asia and has always been committed to pushing for more close economic and trade cooperation among Asian countries.
