Objective To investigate the follow-up management of HIV / AIDS patients (referred to as HIV / AIDS patients) in grass-roots level. Warner’s Random Response Technique (RRT) was used to estimate compliance rate and condom use rate of HIV / AIDS patients Applicability. Methods In the stratified randomized cluster sampling survey, Warner’s random response technique and direct inquiry method were used to investigate the compliance of HIV / AIDS patients and the use of single-family condom. Results The compliance rate of HIV / AIDS patients obtained by random response was 71.5%. The compliance rate of HIV / AIDS patients was 82.5% by direct inquiry method. The use rate of single positive family condom was 72.6% Direct questionnaire statistics single-family condom usage was 90.4%. Conclusions The Warner randomized response technique is simple and easy to use in the follow-up work of AIDS at the grassroots level. It is helpful to protect the privacy of the patients and understand more about the patients’ medication compliance and condom use.
