威廉·华兹华斯(William Wardsworth 1770—1850)是英国保守浪漫主义诗人、“糊畔派”的主要代表人。一七九八年他与“湖畔派”另一位诗人柯勒津治(S.T.Coleridge1772—1834)合著《抒情歌谣集》(Lyrical Ballads),标志与传统的古典主义决裂,从而使英国的浪漫主义得以复兴。一八四三年获桂冠诗人称号。在华兹华斯看来,自然界处处都表现一种超越世界的伟大力量,这个力量给人们以福泽,同时唤醒人们,使他们体会到一个超感觉的世界。华兹华斯对大自然的感觉带着神秘主义和唯灵主义的色彩。
William Wardsworth (William Wardsworth 1770-1850) is a conservative romantic poet in the United Kingdom, “paste camp” the main representative. In 1798, he co-wrote “Lyrical Ballads” with ST Cooleridge (1772-1834), another poet of the “Lakeside School,” a break from the classicism of the mark, Revival In 1843 won the title of laureate poet.
