自2003年一季度中国经济增长速度回升到9.9%后,关于中国经济是否过热的争论就没有停息过。去年10月份以来消费物价指数的持续上涨在使这场讨论变得更加激烈的同时,也为讨论增添了几分扑朔迷离的色彩。两会期间,几位知名经济学家当着温家宝总理的面各抒己见、互不相让,又将这一讨论再次掀起一个新的高潮。国家信息中心的徐宏源说,“我研究宏观经济这么多年,这一年是大家争论最激烈的一年。”中国社会科学院经济学所宏观研究室主任袁钢明在接受《中华工商时报》采访时说,“一波又一波的关于中国经济走势判断的争论足以反映出中国经济运行中的复杂性和矛盾性。”中国社会科学院经济学所所长刘树成将这场讨论中的各家观点加以整理,归类出10种最具代表性的观点和人物:
