Under the auspices of “Cercle d’Etudes des Metaux”, a high-speed steel academic exchange was held on November 7, 1975 in Sentet-Ettelle, France. About 150 people from Europe and the United States attended the meeting. Academic exchanges are divided into the following five groups. 1. About the chemical composition of low-carbon high-speed steel 2. High-speed steel manufacturing and processing 3. High-speed steel heat treatment and microstructure 4. The use of high-speed steel and its characteristics 5. High-speed steel powder metallurgy first group by the E · Haberling and H · H · Weigand made a report on the chemical composition of high-speed steel.
