In the ship - ship transports, Singapore is undoubtedly the highest in the world. There are 33 container ships entering Hong Kong each day and 33 vessels departing, discharging and loading each at 12 400TEU. Approximately 70% (8700TEU) of these vessels need to be transshipped. In just a few hours, the Singapore Port Authority (PSA) can accurately transship 8700TEU, the secret of which is to plan ahead of schedule based on high quality information.
