近年来,我省柑桔品质下降,港澳市场上称为“酸橙”且售价极低,造成此种情况的主要原因之一,就是采收不适时,不少产区为提早上市卖高价钱,而出现恶性早采,因而使柑桔果品品质下降。柑桔的适时采收,是指已具该品种成熟的特点,即含糖量最高,含酸量最低,着色好的时候采收。柑桔的成熟期,因地区、气候条件及品种、树龄等情况不同而异;同一地区的不同年分采收期也不尽相同。又由于对柑桔果实用途不同,采收成熟度要求有差异。如鲜食用果实要求达到该品种固有的色泽、风味和香气、肉质已变软,果实固酸比达到10:1以上即可采收;贮藏用果要求接近完全成熟时采收。四川省主要柑桔品种作鲜食用果的适宜采收期大致为:红桔11月上中旬;地方甜橙12月下旬;锦橙12月中下旬;早熟温州蜜柑9月下旬到10月上中旬,如过迟采收,囊办会变韧不化渣,影响品质。
